Hi I am new to this forum so if this has already been done apologies ( I did do a search and couldn't see a 'Fav Episode' thread). So what is everyones favourite episode. I can't decide at the moment. I just saw the 'Wish me Luck ... As You wave me goodbye' pair of episodes. These are among my favourites because it makes Gary realise that what he saw as a bit of fun before is now deadly serious. Plus there is Reg's "I would like to get to a point where I no nothing of any interest" skit. Cheers

Yeah a lot of people on the forum rate the Jack the Ripper one as a favorite episode. It's not one of mine and don't know why because the concept is great. I think i feel that it is a little rushed and could have easily been made into a double episode.

I have many favourites and perhaps the earliest in the whole series would have to be "Is Your Journey Really Necessary" which had Peter Cellier as the Spiv in the Underground Tube Station. Peter Cellier looked very much like his father who I spotted in an old movie thinking for the moment that it was Peter, as they looked so much alike.
I loved the Music Hall episode where we were treated to some wonderful old songs, 'The 'Ouses in between' and 'The Boy up in the Balcony - looking dahn on me'.
As for Jack the Ripper that is why I just had to bring in Spring Heel Jack - the fore runner to the Ripper in the same locality some 30 years earlier when I wrote my Sequel, "It's a Lovely Day Tomorrow" - you can find it here and there in earlier posts. Malcolm

The early episodes for me were my favourite by far. I can’t choose one from that time but I loved seeing Gary when he first realises he can time travel and experience going back for the first time.

Although I’ve just been watching “the bells are ringing” and reg was on form when talking bad about the midwife with her stood behind him!

Now I’m torn. I’ve just seen the episode where Ron time travels.
If I were him I’d have made more of an effort to fit in but he is his usual daft self.
