Well, sort of. I’ve been thinking about this idea for a while, and not sure how well it would work, or if it would be just to difficult to organise or manage, however, let’s pop it in your mental microwaves and see what defrosts…
In case you’ve never heard of a Book Club before, basically, it’s a bunch of people who all meet regularly (once a week or fortnight or whatever) and agree on a book to read, then all go away and read it, then, when they meet the next time, they discuss it among the group, giving them a sort of shared experience, if you see what I mean.
I was thinking we as a group could do this with Goodnight Sweetheart episodes. We could perhaps pick a day of the week, and sometime on that day we watch an agreed episode of the series, and then, the next day, we open a discussion thread about that particular episode and everyone chimes in. Whether we’d watch the episodes in order, or vote for the next one to watch, etc, is something we could work on as we go, as well as perhaps some ideas for general structuring of comments (i.e. comment on at least one thing you liked about this episode, one thing you disliked, one thing you would have done different, etc), and see where it takes us. I was generally thinking that we’d start to put together a good selection of opinions from real fans about how each episode works, i.e. Good Episode? Bad Episode? Character/Plot development, etc.
What do you think?

Sounds like a great idea to me!

If we can get enough members interested, I'm all for it.

We’ve got 4 of us. That’s probably a goos starting point. Others will probably jump on the bandwagon as we go along!

Yeah, sure. Give me a time, and I'll figure out the difference so we can all try to watch it within the same time frame.

Currently just coming up on 1830hrs here in the UK. I'm planning to start it off in about 90 minutes or so from now. If nobody else starts a thread for it, I'll make one somewhere around 14 hours from now.
