Another comment from my daughter... I find it strange that in all the countless journeys down Duckett's passage to and from the forties, Gary was never seen vanishing or appearing from nowhere. Okay so he could check around before going through one end but he doesn't know if there's going to be anyone walking down the passage the other, does he? The only time the writers were bothered about this was when Duckett's Passage was knocked down and Gary became the 'The Ghost' of the building yard. The other time was in the episode 'When two worlds collide' when the ARP saw Gary's arm coming out of the wall. But I suppose that if the show was too realistic, it wouldn't have been so entertaining.
