A continuation of the "50 Goodnight Sweetheart Questions" from the old board. The first person to get the correct answer can then ask their own question, and so on and so forth.
I'll start. During which three episodes can the Al Bowlly song "Love Is The Sweetest Thing" be heard? Hint: Gary plays it in one of them.

Ok, one of them is when gary and phoebe go dancing in the first series. And i know gary played it himself on the piano at some point in the first 3 series (cos i remember it was before dervla left). I cant think when the other one was!
I think we give in jrichard88 !

Actually, I'd completely forgotten about the song playing during the dancing episode - and that makes my original question technically incorrect. Good catch, ibindere!
Anyway, here are the 4 times the song plays during the series:
Series 1, Episode 2: Fools Rush In (dance scene) Series 1, Episode 6: In The Mood (restaurant scene) Series 2, Episode 8: Nice Work If You Can Get It (Gary on piano) Series 3, Episode 2: One O'Clock Jump (bedroom scene)
Anyone care to jump in with a new question?

Nicely pointed out, guys. I had only the three in my mind, amazingly the restaurant scene was the one that escaped me, hard to believe as I always wax lyrical about that gem of an episode. Fire away!! ;D

There is only one occasion on the show where the words “goodnight sweetheart” are spoken.
1. Which character said it? 2. To which character did they say it? 3. In which episode was it said?

Actually, it's spoken twice: 1) To Yvonne at the end of Series 1 episode "Rites of Passage" 2) To Phoebe at the end of Series 4 episode "Heartaches"
