I posted this on the old forum, so thought I'd start it here.
I always found it strange with the lack of family for Gary in the 1940's.
Phoebe didn't even seem to ask about his family, and I can't remember him ever saying where they were to explain this.
I would have thought since Gary met Pheobe's family, she would have wanted to meet his too.
Also when he got trapped in the past at the end of the series, wouldn't his Mother & Father wonder where on earth he was.

I have wondered about the family issue also. I suppose he could explain part of it away by saying that his parents are dead and he is a only child, but that would only work for so long. Why would he never visit a grave for example.
I guess we just need to suspend logic for a little while.
