This nicely produced TV advert brings to my mind "Goodnight Sweetheart," probably because of the intriguing parallel worlds aspect. It is sad to think that the two characters never actually meet, but it is a beautiful moment when their fingers almost touch in the cinema. www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jiJShJfqmY&feature=youtu.be

I then thought...and I realize this is nuts but wouldn't it be just tragic irony if two people that would have been perfect for each other were born and lived in the same place but in different times??, say, a hundred or more years apart and so never met??, they would never know of each others existence and spent their whole lives believing that there was no one in the world for them??, as I say it's nuts I know that...and yet...could it be exactly what does happen??
