Looking out of the rain splashed window, I sigh, and as the water beads trickle down, I think, FFS.

Is it just me or should Gary and Ron, ever been friends. They seem so missed matched, what with Gary the consumet bore, very straight laced. Whereas Ron is a bit of a party freek, or wanna be. Always look for a new kick. In the real world I'm not sure they would ever have become friends. Discuss.

Well they say opposites attract - there would be very little chemistry if characters are the same. The fact they were so different was what made the friendship interesting

Yeah point well made, but I mean you wouldn't see a council estate chav mixing with the Cheshire elite... ok not a very good example but can you see my drift?

At the time Ron was a successful businessman - Gary only a TV repair man so you could say Ron was the one slumming it!

From Rons point of view the social standard would have been in his favor. Problem is, rightly or wrongly Gary did feel he was just a little higher than Ron, especially after he lost his business.
